During his last year of learning from the valiant Sir Grant, Squire Jonathan looks forward to becoming one of the honored knights protecting the Kingdom of Consany, the castle and the townsfolk: a vision that shatters when a fellow squire reveals an ominous secret.
To make it worse, following this perilous discovery, battles wrench him and Sir Grant away to war—to skirmishes shrouded with mysterious circumstances.
