Over thirty million years have passed since the fall of the mostly forgotten Human Empire.
What has replaced it is a universe of conflicting empires and other factions, all vying for dominance and power.
In the midst of this cosmopolitical landscape, Xueri, a young and seemingly insignificant prince on Planet Rualaj, an isolated snowy planet on the fringes of the universe, finds his destiny to be tied up in great cosmic events.
The Rualajese, unlike any other alien race, possess immortality, a trait that seizes the attention of the Empire of Durosia and catapults them to invade Xueri's world.
Xueri and his people try their best to resist, but are hopeless against the mighty alien empire. He is separated from his best friend and now girlfriend, Sapphire, to be put in a ten thousand-year coma while in a lab on another planet.
After awakening, Xueri finds himself in an unfamiliar universe as he slowly recovers his memories.
Meanwhile, the new Durosian Emperor, Vielodesi, is desperate for immortality, which Durosia has still failed to extract, as he finds himself in his seventies and with no heir. Vielodesi decides he must finish what his ancestors started and capture Xueri to extract his immortality.
A struggle that will determine the fate of the universe and the supernatural realm awaits Xueri.
The question is, can he even save himself?
