This trip to the North Georgia mountains will be unlike the previous trips for Clarissa, a retired Navy specialist. She loves these mountains, the closed woods offering a welcomed mystery, and for good reason. She’d written her last novel, a sci fi romantic bestseller, in these Blue Ridge Mountains. Now facing financial hardship, Clarissa hopes that this vacation will prove magical. She has no idea what awaits.
On her run back to her rental cabin, her feet tapping the narrow dirt road that stretches for miles, she notices a break in the cabin’s basement window. Right away, she pulls her gun, enters the cabin and searches the basement. She sees nothing. Yet, she isn’t safe.
