Lil’ Leo the Chosen One brings to life the story of Parnita Senjit’s real-life certified therapy dog as a cartoon character complete with a black and white scarf.
In this the first of her planned series, the reader is taken right back to day one when Parnita and her family choose Leo from the litter. Sharing how the family felt selecting the puppy that was to become an integral part of their lives, the author cleverly offers up Leo’s perspective on the situation – his feelings and thoughts on being selected by his new ‘family’.
Leo is a certified therapy dog who has been actively involved in helping children read, as well as spending time making friends of the elderly in care homes.
In this first introduction to Leo’s world, as well as in planned future editions, each story will focus on a particular theme and will evolve as our canine protagonist grows up. The book also includes helpful dos and don’ts all of which have been devised to maximise the joy enjoyed by both owner and dog.
Throughout the series readers are treated to many of the small, entertaining, and unique real-life events that have shaped Leo’s personality and further developed the love and bond he enjoys with the Senjit family.
