After John’s wife dies in an accident, a well-dressed man, now unshaven with hair down to his shoulders, looks like a tramp. John only shaves after his friends, Gilbert, and Wendy, invite him in for New Year's Dinner. During the meal, John says, “I’ve decided to move abroad.” Although shocked, they decided Spain would be best for him. After John checks out various properties online, he goes to look at them. Although he has no ideas about romance when he flies to Spain, everything changes when he meets Mia. As a result, John ends up with the one thing that has been missing in his life.
